care system - will be aired in class. Note the following information:
Michael Moore’s Sicko - Segments and dates include:
• 11/26 = Meet the Smith’s; Rejected: Too Thin, Too Fat; Happy,
Insured Customers; and The Hit Man. [30 or so minutes]
• 11/28 = A Public Confession; The Birth of HMO; O Canada!; and
Great Britain: Where’s the Billing Department? [30 or so minutes]
• 11/30 = Democracy is Revolutionary; An American Film Maker in
Paris; The French: Time to Chuck the Freedom Fries; and “Who Are We?”
[25 or so minutes]
• 12/3 = Sick and Forgotten: Heroes of 9/11; Escape to Guantanamo;
Cuban Care; and We Sink or Swim Together [25 or so minutes]
• 12/5 = Discussion of the film in general and the health care system of
the United States and what the future might bring.
Final Exam will cover the following, plus terms in Chapters 10 & 11: PPT for
